Great place needs makeover Property overall is great and the staff are super kind and friendly. I did notice the wear and tear on our cabin to be a little rough, like doors not being able to close and small holes and scratches.

Simple and cute Great and simple. The kitchen was very useful. When my friend did some exploring, we saw there is an area for a bon fire. You just have to schedule the use of it upon checking in. We will definitely come nack again.

Golden Bear is a hidden gem. It’s in the outskirts of town (5mins from main population) which means far less congestion. It’s an older property that is very quaint, quiet, and comfortable. GREAT for families! Super courteous staff, really had a nice stay!

We loved our stay! The property is close to the lake and the rates were affordable. Our cabin was rustic but well appointed with a kitchenette, fireplace, futon and best of all a jacuzzi tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Don even offered us a late check-out so we could go fishing Sunday morning. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you!
