I have been living at Golfside Lake Apartments for about a year. While no place is 100% perfect, my experience has been much better than some of the negative comments I had read before moving in. Of course, experiences can vary from apartment to apartment and even unit to unit, but overall, Hector and his team is doing a great job compared to other communities I have lived in nearby. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Hector, the community manager, and his amazing staff, and I can’t speak highly enough of their professionalism and dedication. Hector and his team are always so welcoming, making every resident and prospect feel valued and cared for. Golf side lake apartments is a clean and quiet area with lakes, trees and flowers, birds and squirrels, as well as comfortable walking paths. In summer there is an opportunity to relax in the swimming pool. The apartment has a convenient layout, painted, clean and all equipment in good condition. Golfside Lake Apartments is a beautiful community with great amenities, including two swimming pools, two tennis courts, a playground, and a nicely equipped fitness center that is available 24 hours a day. It has good walking paths, and a beautiful lake teeming with ducks and wildlife. The grounds are always well-kept. My apartment was updated prior to my moving in with newer appliances in the kitchen and updated fixtures in the bathroom as well as new carpet and fresh paint. This place claims it’s non-smoking, but allows the residents to smoke. McKinley leadership has disregarded and not responded to over 100 smoking complaints this year alone from over 20 residents, and that's only what we know of. This is a complete violation of the contracts they make us sign. If you are lucky, they will stick up a paper no smoking sign that gets ripped right down. McKinley higher ups also don't respond to these violations. Unless you want everything you own to stink like smoke, do not move here. They also do... read more
