RecommendedFerris was understanding and knowledgeable. He and his crew knew how to get the job done. They did an amazing job with beautifying our lawn. I can clearly tell the huge difference from having professionals do the lawn! I will definitely recommend their service to my friends!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will send someone out to quote you for work you want to be done. That you thoroughly discuss with them and then DO NOT complete that job. Then they will ignore your calls, and when they finally talk to you, they'll send you a new quote with $0. Making you think they are correcting their mistake, only to turn around and charge you $3500 and claim it’s because of materials. These people operate in bad faith and lie. They are a scam.
I set up a lawn service for Mondays and they did not come. When I called yesterday to let them know, they didn’t believe me and I had to send a picture to prove that they did not mow my lawn. On top of that, they are saying they don’t have anyone that can come mow today. Completely unacceptable as the location I have them mowing is a vacation rental. I recommend finding another provider if you want reliability and good service.

I went to Grass Works on FM 620 on Sunday, 10-19 to buy one of their used work trucks. I met with the owner Ferris Mycue and he showed me the truck, told me it had been regularly maintained, was in great condition and had no major issues. Ferris seemed very nice and genuine, my wife and I both trusted him on his word. I didn't get 15 minutes/6 miles away from his business when the truck broke down. Never again will I hire a company without checking Yelp reviews first. Had I read the many bad reviews customers posted about Grass Works and the owner, Ferris, I would NEVER have gone with them to install landscaping. I first had Ferris come out to give me ideas on how to spruce up the landscaping in front of our house. He recommended we take out some existing shrubs and install Esperanza and blue Plumbago.
