I have been going to them for a while now. I have had some odd dental problems which I supose comes with age. They have dealt with everything. I am very confident and happy in their care. šĀ
I knew the moment I called to make my dad's appointment that I made a good decision. The dentist and staff were amazing and so patient with my dad. Their office is clean and modern. Highly recommend!Ā
Great people work here! I am always greeted warmly and receive excellent dental care. In the 6+ years I've gone to Sherin Johnson, she has been consistently kind in her treatment of people. There have been several different hygenists over that time, but all have done a fine job. I return every 6 months for cleaning at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Great Smiles of La Mesa.Ā
Had my first visit for X-rays and diagnosis. Everyone in the office was a pleasure to interact with and they really cared that I was informed about the process and most of all, that I was comfortable! I received state of the art imaging and a plan that was totally catered to my needs! I highly recommend Great Smiles!!!Ā

I canāt rave enough about Dr. Sherin Johnson and the staff at Great Smiles of La Mesa. I was tortured my entire childhood by out family dentist and have severe PTSD. Symptoms include: holding my breath, white knuckles from holding my hands so tight, and my body ends up being so sore from clenching so hard a day or so after treatment. Absolutely. Staff is great to work with, I felt completely comfortable immediately. The initial evaluation was done with high tech equipment and every step was transparent and explained in detail. Had to return the following day for oral surgery and the procedure could not have been any better or gone as well. I definitely recommend this team if you are looking for dental work of most types.Ā
