Total scam! They sent my lab test to the only lab that's not covered by my insurance company (out of network). I have specifically asked them about whether it's covered by my insurance company and they promised to check before sending. They prey on people who were in bad health situation (I went to see them when I had shingles and in pain). I was hit with $356 bill instead of maximum $36 if it's in network. Had an appointment on July 12 to get candela laser done and took off work for 1 week to have it done and rented a car from Broward County only to find out that machine is not working. Then I rescheduled 2 days later and did the same and almost there they called me and said the machine is broken again! How can a world renowned doctor not have a backup candela machine?

Worst experience with a doctor in my life. Dr. Nardo Zaias came in with an agenda to prove his theory that no one has toenail fungus and custom orthotics solves every problem. He did not listen to me and spoke mostly to a student who was training / assisting. The student took a sample for biopsy and asked if she had enough. Dr. Zaias insisted it didn't matter because I didn't have toenail fungus, but the sample was fine. Over 2 weeks later, I still had not heard from the office.
