I've been getting tms treatment for Depression and this particular location out Pikesville Maryland has been such a blessing. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. They are always very accommodating to my time schedule and really make me feel welcome everytime I come for treatment. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for another way to help overcome depression. This was the best decision I've ever made.
I was there twenty minutes early. Thirty minutes after my appointment time when I was about to leave they said they could set up the treatment room. If I was fifteen minutes late they would force me to reschedule. They didn’t even tell me that they were running late.
Had my initial consultation was assured that I would be scheduled for mapping as soon as they had my prior authorization. It has been over a week three phone calls to voicemail and not a return phone call. I went to Greenbrook because I am depressed and was hoping for relief. No such luck.
Thus far I’ve been disappointed with the responsiveness, or lack there of. I was screened, had an appointment with the doctor and was told I should hear back from them most likely within 48 hours after they contacted my insurance company to see if TMS is covered. I was told that I should be able to make my first appointment the following week. It’s going on 2 weeks and I haven’t heard a thing. Spravato has changed my whole life. It has given me hope and motivation to live a normal life without depression for the first time I can ever remember. In addition to this treatment working miracles, the staff at this facility are the absolute sweetest, most caring, empathetic humans I've ever met. They sit with me and talk when I am having a rough treatment, and they go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need to help me feel comfortable and to relieve my side effects of nausea.
