Our birds are a big part of our family and Nugget has such a long life ahead of her still. We had an emergency situation and this place pulled out all the stops to make sure she’d be okay. They even fashioned her a tiny cone with x-ray film. Nugget’s ego is bruised, and I’m not sure if she hates the cone or the bandage more... and her boyfriend Booger is CONCERNED AS HECK about what has been happening, but she’s recovering well and soon she’ll be good as new. Our cockatiel needed emergency care for an injury, we called ahead and they were standing by the door ready and immediately took her to make sure she was stable. So many vets will refuse to do anything until they generate a bill and collect first, it was a pleasant surprise to see care as the priority. The Dr was wonderful, Nugget is doing well, and the final bill was very fair. Thank you!
Dr. Armstrong was amazing with our girl Molly who needed emergency surgery. She got us in quickly and made sure that we were informed and comfortable with the procedure. The technical staff was phenomenal in communicating clearly both over the phone and in person. Molly was very well taken care of and we are happy to report she is recovering well!
