A friendly local family restaurant located on 931, with a pub like atmosphere, service was very nice. I started with a cup of the french onion soup, which for me was not enough onion. My entree was the panini club melt, plenty of meat turkey, ham, and bacon. Along with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a side of pickle. The menu has a large variety of offerings for just about everyone's tastes, including adult beverages of beer and wine.

The wife and I stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The waiter recommended the ribs- and sure enough, they were about as good as I've ever had. We will certainly dine there again.

Not disappointed trying a new place. Comfortable atmosphere great service and baby back ribs to die for. Don't pass this place up in Kokomo.

Still going strong. Recently returned to Indiana after and extended time away. Joined my in-laws for dinner at Grindstone (Charleys). Great for families Food is still great, with all the favorites and some new additions. I had a great steak.. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. One suggestion - re-light the sign out front - reads as 'stone(d) Charleys' when approaching from the north. Which may explain the laid back atmosphere.

Consistently Good Food. I was recently back in Indiana and had dinner with some co-workers. It's now just called Grindstones and the menu has been updated but many old favorites remain on the menu. I went with an old favorite, the beer batter fish n chips. The others order the buffalo flatbread pizza, the overstuffed philly steak sandwich, and the three cheese pasta. My family recently ate here and the service and food was really good. My son really enjoyed the pork tenderloin sandwich and I had the drunken chicken. By the looks of the outside of the building and parking lot we weren't sure what to expect. We were definitely surprised by how good everything was. We will be return customers.:)

The atmosphere is very welcoming and family friendly. Service was excellent, food very tasty. Loved the fried tomatoes!!! Fair prices. Drive from South Bend, IN.

My husband and I love going here. I always get something different and he usually gets the ribs. Neither of us have any complaints. They serve complimentary bread which is very good. I especially liked the cedar plank salmon with grilled asparagus which has great seasoning. Definitely stop by if you are in Kokomo!

Great place. I worked for grindstone charley's. and i know how the food is made there. its always fresh, hot (or cold), and is not as expencive as most other bigger chains. i would have to say that the hand breaded tenderloin. they are hand made to order, almost the size of the plate, and the best tasting tenderloin in the city.(other than mine lol)
