Our food was excellent as always. I've never found a bison burger I liked more than at Grindstone's. The wait staff was excellent, as well. The ice teas at the table were always filled. The various waiters assisted each other, as the place was fairly crowded. Like other places, I imagine the staff is short-handed, but you'd not know it when dining here. We came with friends who had never been. One of them had Mahi Mahi and it came out dry and cold, the other ordered a filet but appeared to be a sirloin. We didn’t complain. Our server was busy, they seemed short staffed, like any other places right now. We will be back. We love the place but this last time did not meet our usual expectations.
