We took friends who had never been. Party of 6 and were seated at the round table to the left of inside the door. Two complained about having open table and being seated right by the door but the biggest issue was that the sun was so bright, 3 of them couldn't see (the sun was nice don't get me wrong). There were plenty of tables in the main dining, and when we asked if we might move were told we'd have to cash out and get a new server. Next time we'll know.
Very good menu with multiple items to choose from. The four of us all enjoyed our dinners. Even though it was Saturday night reservations worked perfectly and we were seated almost immediately. Will definitely return.
It was our first time at Grindstone. Fun atmosphere, but very loud. Good menu selection, everyone enjoyed their meal for the most part. My daughter loved her chicken and noodles. Sliders were tasty but the pulled pork was chewy. For the price, we thought the food was overall good.

We went on a Saturday Night. Made reservations and showed up early. Parking wasn’t too bad but had to walk a couple of blocks. Glad the weather was good. We were seated right away. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had crab dip, and French onion soup for starters. Caesar salad that came with meal was generous. Two in our party had bacon wrapped scallops and they said they were cooked perfectly. My wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich - the coating was crispy and the chicken hot ‘n juicy... read more
The food was excellent! Especially for the price!
We enjoyed the meal. Facility is very nice. Staff is helpful - down to earth versus sophisticated. Nice drink and dessert menu. We both had steak. My NY Strip was far superior to the sirloin my wife had (although that was to be expected). Perhaps we should have split one. Parking on street and surface lots was easy. Will return.
Soooo good.
