I thanked my lucky stars I made reservations on OpenTable on the Saturday of the Noblesville Peony Festival because there were numerous people trying to get a table and they were REALLY busy. My son had the French toast, which he loved, and I had the "chicken salad" which really isn't the traditional chicken salad. It was fine, but I was really in the mood for traditional chicken salad. My wife had the fried catfish and it was done very well. I had the Prime Rib Manhattan and it was not very good. The meat was over cooked and dry. The mash potatoes were unremarkable. The mushroom sauce was not tasty and the bread was kind of tough. I’ve had other meals at Grindstone and think the food is normally good quality. The Prime Rib Manhattan missed the mark.

Our entire experience was high quality, and the place was very busy with prom, Kentucky Derby, and State Rd 38 sale! The menu has a wide variety of offerings, everything our table of 8 ordered was great. This including apps, wine, cocktails, spirits, bourbon chicken, steak tacos, bison & other burgers, etc. Waitress was very attentive. Food arrived quickly. They have creative and on-theme cocktail options.
