Great food - personable server but she was forgetful. They were very busy so she may have been stretched. Great value, prime rib was cooked perfect!!

This was our first visit to Grindstone Public House, and we will definitely return. Cocktails were outstanding with a fair pour. Started with crab Cajun dip as an appetizer and it was delicious with thin tortilla chips that were fresh and worked well with the dip. Our server, Jill, was friendly and efficient. We ordered the prime rib, medium rare; it came out not as rare as we would have liked but the flavor and tenderness were outstanding, and by far the best prime rib I've ever eaten. Was seated upstairs. Open balcony. Noise reverberated everywhere. Difficult to hear conversation at a table with just four of us. Our waitress must’ve been frazzled. My wife and I ordered salads. Never received them. When our main meal arrived, we let our waitress know that we we never received our salads. She brought out the salads but the dressing on mine was incorrect. I work for Clancy’s Inc so I have been working my way around to trying all of our restaurants in the company. Last night I tried Grindstone Public House and the food was amazing and perfect for my picky self. I loved the ambience of the restaurant, how busy it was and how fast the food came out picture worthy for sure. First time at this restaurant, overall experience was good. Menu has a great variety selections. We had a pork chop and fish tacos today. They were great! I’m looking forward to check out their dinner menu soon. The place wasn’t crazy busy. Staff was attentive and friendly.
