My Daughter was born with what we thought was a pink spot on the left side of her head and was later determined as a Strawberry Hemangioma. In three months it was raised from the skin a quarter inch and was a half inch wide. As soon as we thought "this needs to be looked at" my mom suggested Dr. Daube. He calmed all my worries and ran head scans to make sure it wasn't anything that needed surgery. Every three months for a year we got it checked and they measured it. I had an appointment today at 11 o’clock. I arrived on time. Had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby before I was taken back to exam room five. I sat in the exam room for another 25 minutes before I decided to go up front and speak with the receptionist and ask if I could be seen. Kudos to Dr. Daube!!! My situation was a bit different from most procedures described here that are provided at the Gulf Coast Facial Plastics & E.N.T. Center. My needs were a bit different, urgent - a real emergency. What started as just a very bad sore throat days earlier, quickly worsened with the rapid onset of epiglottitis. My epiglottis was quickly swelling, cutting off upper airway breathing. It was a life-threatening emergency. God's blessing in the form of Dr. Daube was with me!!!
