Summary: Stay away from this company! Purchased a vehicle with GWC, and was excited to get it transferred. However, I was quickly disappointed- their customer service is horrendous (no help and 30min wait time). They don’t have the transfer documents, they want you to draft them up, comply with their blueprint on how to do so and sign it over. Moreover, there is no option to email or fax. Edit 2/15/24: I just had a rear differential replacement on the same car (2015 Yukon XL - it's not been a super reliable car) and had the warranty claim through GWC approved. This one took about 3 days to get approved. Of the $2900 repair, I was on the hook for $600. Again, because of the labor rate differential below, and I'm guessing some fluids and other parts not covered. Overall I've had 3 claims filed and 3 claims approved by GWC so I'm happy with them. Whatever you do - please NEVER purchase a warranty from this company or buy a car that forces you to use this warranty company. The promises are deep but the communication and actually providing what they promise falls through. Today they DENIED a claim not because the parts were not covered but because they did not communicate with us or the shop to know that there needed to be a review before further work was done. Absolute worst extended warranty cover I’ve ever had to work with. If you purchased a contract with GWC, please save yourself and cancel it ASAP and get your money back. Had a cylinder head valve failure claim for a customer. Failure was cracked valves for cyl #3 and sunk valves for the rest. They didn’t believe me and wanted breakdown from our machine shop showing what they would be doing. I sent it. Heard nothing from them.
