I have been to several gastro doctors before and nobody was able to help me. A friend referred me to Dr Charbel and it was a blessing. He listened to me and reassured me and he worked with me on changing my diet and gave me the right medicine and he made me feel so much better. I can finally function again and get out of my house without worrying about running to the bathroom. He is a very smart man and I am very thankful to him.

Been with this GI doctor only about 6 months. Ready to find a new one, again. Every time I've been sick and called for help the last few months, the assistants say he's out and he never calls me back, I never get medication and continue suffering and have to go to the ER. What kind of doctor ignores his patients? Assistants Valeria and Casey are also TERRIBLE, no help at all and apparently screening MY calls.
I had a consult with him for a weight loss procedure online. He said, if I want to do it call to make an appointment. I was told I need to speak to his nutritionist first and I did. I called after that to make the appointment and left at least 10 messages with No Return Calls. Just the other day I get an email saying they are not going to do the procedure until I show proof I have gone through a Medical Weight Loss program for 6 months. I needed to have a weight loss procedure done and since they were close I made a consult. I filled out the questions prior so they had all my history and than they charged me $50.00 and my wife and I had the consult with Dr Charbel. We discussed my need for having it and I had several medical conditions it would help if I had it done and he agreed that people do it for those health reasons. The lady who answered the phone was so incredibly rude. She basically told me not to make an appointment that there was no point. She also invalidated my symptoms. I have never talked to someone so rude on the phone.
Be careful. Not what I expected. Gained 30lbs. Staff & Dr little to no help after taking $.
Dr. Charbel always seems to have a busy domineer. He never reads what the nurses have asked already. He probes to the 1st thing that a patient needs and that's bentyl as a strategic of by passing the customer and says "This is the first step". Its as if you get your computer evaluated, It's not working let's restart. He doesn't print paper work for you with instructions and assumes you will jump onto the portal to read it.
