Great location, fitness center bad. Smells awful, no air, and machines must be 20 years old.
The management at this Hampton Inn will sell your room if it looks like you are not there. I had the room booked multiple days, checked in, gave my credit card, and stayed a night. I went off for the day, and when I came back the room I could not get in. I thought I forgot my room number or the key did not work. I went to the front desk and was told it looked like I checked out, and did not respond to phone messages and e-mails. Because I did not look at my phone and emails they sold my room. The room was ok. Our sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on because there was a massive hard spring stocking out of the cushion ... maybe very old? I don't know. The bed was amazing and the customer service was great when we arrived but the woman who checked us out was a bit rude. And we asked for a late check out but they would not give anything so we ended up having to pay a whopping $90 for a few extra hours. You can walk to the beach which is nice. My daughter and I stayed one night before leaving on a Bahama cruise. We have stayed in many Hamptons and have always had great service, but not here. I would have rated it a two star, but actually we had issues with two areas. The kitchen kept saying the bacon would be ready in a minute, but in reality it was more like almost 10 minutes. The front desk staff was wonderful when we checked in, but the man at the front desk in the morning was very short with customers.
