Friendly staff, good breakfast included in room rate. Felt room charge was high for the basic room. Good location. Really unattractive carpet in corridors but room was fine.
Overall this was a relatively large room in NYC with all the basics. The staff are hardworking and kind, they deserve a raise! It’s older and needs a little TLC and it’s kind of shocking how much the room rates are. The breakfast is solid but some days the main food items were cooked/stored in a warming drawer until it was nearly inedibly dry. But they gave lots of options and we didn’t starve. Great location- that’s the selling point. Quiet room, Not crazy about the laundry in the halls every day, but maybe that’s NY space limitations…
I stayed here for two nights (Sunday to Tuesday) and overall quite liked this hotel. My room overlooked 24th street and was quiet and nicely updated. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great (eggs, oatmeal, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt). The location was really convenient to subway and easy walking to many of the places I wanted to visit. Staff were friendly and hard working.
It is super well located and has easy access to catch the train.
The rooms are tiny. The amenities are average. Had to wait till after 4 pm before room was ready. Maybe that’s what you get in Manhattan for 400 per night but is is less than mediocre.
