Dr. Fitzmaurice and ALL the people at The Fitzmaurice Hand Institute were kind, friendly, and Very understanding of my situation. Dr. Fitzmaurice quickly checked my hand, even took some X-rays on the spot (no need to wait for results nor any kind of printing). I had a very good experience there and very much appreciate their consideration and understanding.
Dr Fitzmaurice performed a trigger thumb surgery 3 years ago and it was so successful that I trusted him to perform carpel tunnel on both hands after that! Amazing!
UPDATE: Need to amend review written a week ago. After reaching out to financial people at FHI, agreement was reached on out-of-network charges. Had procedure done yesterday; entire process from being checked in to being advised/prepped on procedure, meeting with doc, followed by procedure itself was amazingly easy, and smooth. Amazed at state of the art equipment used; experience and competence of the staff. The care I received before during, and after was second to none. THANK YOU!
Great doctor, amazing staff and facility. I initially meet with the Dr's PA Megan. She was amazing and provided the care I need to treat my condition. Dr Fitzmaurice performed my surgery and I'm amazed at the outcome. I'm happy i took the recommendation of a friend who was a patient and made an appointment to visit his office.
Excellent initial experience. Everyone e is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Doctor is most likeable, knowledgeable, and very down to earth. My hand procedure is scheduled for Friday.

Had surgery and now I am at a new Dr. to correct what was done. Wish I could add NO stars.
On 6/3/19, I was seen for severe pain arthritis in my left hand as a second opinion regarding a surgical procedure to repair the degenerating bone. The P.A. That saw me did an X-ray, explaining details of the surgery. I had explained that, for now, I just wanted a steroid injection in the area of the most intense pain. As she examined my thumb area, she pressed on the back of my thumb, asking if the area was painful.
