Hudson Hills provides comprehensive services for patients, and they have shown great flexibility and understanding. They try their best to do a very hard job. They have not always been as communicative as I'd like them to be - and they seem to be experiencing shortages of staff, particularly home health aides and particularly in the evenings.

We chose Hudson Hills because they only had one available room with a shared room in memory care which made it more affordable. Everything was handed very quickly and we were able to move her in very quickly. From my observations, the food seems fine. They do seem to be flexible and accommodating with the menu choices as well. Another important feature is that they have a skilled nursing wing here as well if someone needs that care. I am very satisfied with our experience and I would recommend the community.

I would recommend this community, it was a positive impression. It was a good place. The room size was adequate. There are multiple levels in this community. I am not sure what type of activities are available as my loved did not partake.

My loved love one moved in on [date removed] and the community went on lock down on [date removed]. My loved one wasn't able to visit with any residents; however she raved about the staff. The staff was very helpful to me knowing she was well cared for. My loved one had many complications due to her health. However, the staff was great during this time.

They seem to be very organized. Anytime there has been a change we have received a phone call. They have excellent facilities for everyone. They looked great and saw people doing activities during the tour. They even had a physical therapy room. It was a great tour and they went through everything on the tour. Noreen Wendt was very knowledgeable and friendly with us during the tour.

We chose Hudson Hills because of the location and the cost. The room sizes are great. This facility has handled COVID extraordinarily well. They did have a few cases, but seemed to have less than other facilities in the NJ area. The communication with families was amazing during this time. I would absolutely recommend this community.

My friend moved in this place on [date removed] they're not up to code she has gotten robbed the neighbor got robbed, I was stuck inside the elevators fire department had to came save me than it didn't week for 3 week when they fix it she got stuck in the other one now that one isn't working the celling fall down in the lobby the workers walk into people apartment when they're not home because they've walked into her apartment without her permission. I would say that it started out like a dream and turned into a nightmare. We were lied to continually, kept in the dark, and charged for unknown fees with no contract. The floor my mother was put on had only 2 tenants, herself and another guest, and dementia patients would regularly show up at her door in the middle of the night banging on her door. Please don't send ANYONE there! What a nightmare. I promise you, I am easy going, and not picky at all. But they are in the middle of a transition, and are completely disorganized and understaffed. They also charged my Mother for things that were never discussed without any receipt or paperwork. The hot water was often non functional, as well as many electrical outlets. Twice, I found Alzheimer's patients knocking on my Mother's door repeatedly, and it turned out they had been missing for hours. I could go on and on. We star... read more
