I have worked with Dr. Opie for several procedures. He is skilled and professional and does excellent work.
Basically told me to be happy my pain wasn't worse and to live with it.
I has gastric sleeve surgery in 2016, I ended up having multiple compilations. First surgery was done and then had to have 2nd surgery the next day because my hernia repair ( during sleeve surgery) was stitched to tight to my diaphragm I could hardly breathe. I later went on to need emergency bypass by the Bariatric Center of Kansas City because my sleeve was to tight to ever eat. I spent 7 days in hospital, PIC line and has such low potassium my Doctor said I could have had heart attack-beware
He almost killrd me botched my surgery so bad Mayo clinic had to fix me removed gall bladder that proved to be ok after pathology report nicked a main nerve and created permanent damage Hes a butcher
Worst bedside manner I have even experienced. Ask questions but interrupts the answer. Make statements like we have got to hurry and get this done
I needed to have surgery and I was in the ER. The ER docs were saying that it was no emergency to have this surgery, but I was in extreme pain and dr opie had me admitted and did surgery within the day!!
