We recently moved to this subdivision. We had lived here exactly 3 months and the garage door stopped working. We’ve called, emailed & sent warranty complaints in with no response or resolution. The warranty department does not properly respond and repair damages. I wish I could say I was the only person with this issue however I am either related to or have met and became friends with many others in here who also have issues. Very disappointing. We thought we were getting a quality home. Our plumbing is awful. Toilets back up constantly and we have had parts replaced within the first year. They didn’t provide adequate lighting in multiple rooms nor adequate outlets. Had to pay for more to be added. Breakers still go off because the house can’t handle Christmas lights or anything extra plugged in. Air circulation is also questionable. One room is hot and the next room is cold. While it looks beautiful on the outside, they just don’t provide quality workmanship.
I would NOT recommend buying a Harney Home. They sell you on being a small and local company that is "better" than the big home builders such as DR Horton. But my experience has not been great. They were super nice, but only until we closed. Now we can't get any warranty work done and we have had tons of issues. Our flooring which was "expensive" according to the builder, is absolute garbage and has been destroyed since the day we moved in and continues to get worse.
