My mother has been a resident at HH for 7 years and overall we have found the care to be above expectations. The staff is very friendly and caring and the therapy department is exceptional. Her social worker Lacie is fantastic. Crystal, from the maintenance department, is wonderful and takes time to interact with the residents. Our Mom had been cared for at Harris Hill a couple of times in the past year. Although it is a trying time, and emotional, I have never been disappointed with the level of care. Always with dignity and respect. Sure, there were times when staff was scarce, but where isn't it? Several of the nurses and aides have been there a long time. Mom always felt cared for and not neglected. Beth Ann deserves 10 stars. She is so caring and anticipates all my needs. The nurses and the entire staff deserves 5 and above stars. Kim in the the severy wonderful.
Our Mom has been a resident for over 2 years and we have seen a huge improvement in the CNA's they have hired, the cleanliness of the facility inside and out, the public restrooms and most importantly our Mom's room and bathroom. This we feel is due to our new administrator, Stacy. We also take full advantage of Harris Hill offering us a meeting every 3 months with our Mom's Nursing unit coordinator, Melissa, Katie her NP and Sarah our social worker. This is a great place to rehab for any age. They have physical therapy to occupational therapy to having meals in a room with other patients who have the ability to eat in the same room too. This eating together helps with rehabilitation because mentally you get to be with others too.
