Love Harvest. This was our 5th time dining there. Food is well-prepared and menu had plenty of variety. Drinks were excellent and service was great. My only bit of constructive criticism is that the lighting is entirely too harsh in the evenings - on both floors. The restaurant has plenty charm, but is diminished greatly by the very non-cozy nighttime lighting.
We enjoy eating at Harvest on Main when we are in town. I love the way it looks inside (fireplace going, rustic furniture, log cabin style). It reminds me of having dinner at a friend's house. The server we had on our night was pleasant but not overly attentive. The food was good, not great but the entire dining experience was lovely. We will be back.
My wife and I had a very pleasant experience at Harvest On Main in Blue Ridge, GA. Great rustic hunting/ fishing lodge ambience. The menu had a diverse selection of appetizers, salads, soups, charcuterie meats and entrees that should appeal to most any palate. Great all around. The only thing we've experienced is that the drinks take a little while to come out, even beer. Other than that, service is friendly, food is delicious, and setting is rustic chic. Definitely a gem.
One of the best fish I've had in a long time, a whole black bass. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Kind of expensive, but worth it!
Server was excellent and very attentive. Food was outstanding. Complimentary birthday dessert was very appreciated.
only reason we did not give it 5 stars was the difference in presenting the menu specials between our waitress and the two waiters we over heard next to us. we would have ordered one of the specials had we heard the full description.
The meal was delicious. We loved the chanterelle appetizer, trout entree and chocolate mousse.
When I made the reservation, I told them it was my husband's 81st birthday. It was never mentioned by them and we were disappointed to be seated at an isolated table in the bar next to the stairs. Our server was attentive and the food very good.
