Food and staff were awesome! My dreams will consist of eating this hot chicken while blarring Missy Elliott's Work It. The wait in line...the calories....all worth it!
Visited here on Saturday, amazing place!!!! You will wait, but you can go inside and get a beer to drink while waiting on line, if you'd like. I made some friends while standing in line. The people coming out tell you it's worth the wait, so you hold strong in line! When you get inside, the staff is upbeat, fun, and QUICK. Take your number, find any open seat and wait for your food. My wife and I are driving across the country and we have hit a ton of local legends for food. This was the best of the bunch chicken was moist crunchy and delicious. Overall the staff was friendly and courteous far more so than the staff at a legendary BBQ place we went to the day before in KC. If you can tolerate the pretentious hipsters while waiting it's a stellar meal.
Really flavorful chicken with great sides. I'd say the 'hot' is not quite as spicy as I was expecting. If you're looking for a really spicy piece go up to the top levels.
Honestly the best chicken I've had. We visit Nashville about once a year and make it a point to eat here (at least) once. Be prepared to wait (last visit was a little over an hour), but WELL worth it. Plus, great local beers on tap to cure the hangover from the night before!
