My dog is doing great. They only thing she needed was her rabies shot updated, so I book an appointment with a technician. They took her at the door and gave her back to me 5 minutes later. THEY CHARGED ME $41 for “technician exam/consultation” and also the shot. REALLY? What consultation? She was there for the shot only!! I didn’t ask any questions and if she was examed I got no feedback at all!!!! If I want a consultation or an exam, I want a doctor, not a technician. They basically overcharged me for for her shot.
Well geez,I contacted Hatton via email AND phone. Even sent a picture of my pet's old prescription bottle with the doctors name on it. I received an initial response from the doctor stating that they had never seen my pet baby. sent a return email with a picture of the prescription bottle (with Dr. Laura Takata's name printed on it), and NO RESPONSE!!! ☹ I gave up and just contacted another vet!!!

Hello Drea. Yes, you did send me that photo by email. You are correct it is of a medication I did prescribe 4 years ago, but the medication you are asking for is one the shelter prescribed 4 years ago. Regardless of who prescribed the medications and what they were, we do not have a current VPCR. I am sorry I did not clarify, but the definition of the VPCR typically is that we have to have seen the patient within one year (although for for some conditions or medications it is less than a year ). I feel Hatton vet. Hospital really let me down I believe vitamin k or something fast enough would have saved my kid. This was wrong during business hours in am.not to squeeze her in she was just 13 years old. After 20+years and many pets this was wrong. Will never go back. By the time I found another vet and got her there was 20 -30 minutes waiting for Hatton tell me no. And another 30+ to get to another vet.
I used Hatton for twenty + years many pets. Last time I went in my dog was ill I figured during business hours they would see her. Waited twenty thirty minutes for them to tell me no. I found another clinic/ hospital by the time I got her there and they rushed her in she stopped breathing. I believe it was a poison from flea fogging I did evertything right went with dogs outside for longer than needed then aired house out while we were still outside. I feel Hatton let me down. Will never go back.
