Everything was great! Highly recommend a mimosa and the pimento cheese omelette! We also got the beignets but they would of been better with some caramel or chocolate sauce! Would definitely go again for brunch!
I'll start by saying we always enjoy Haven. Last night there was a VERY loud and obnoxious group on the patio. We, other diners and staffers were complaining. Not much you can do about that I guess. Since we had a late reservation, the inside dining room was clearing out and we had such amazing staff taking care of us, they cleaned a table and moved us inside so we could hear each other. Brunch was delicious! great setting, service, and food! Can't wait to come back for dinner someday soon.
Nice restaurant. The food was delicious ,oysters and grits . A salad to start . The room is extremely noisy and I'm sure it would have been worse if we had come later when full . Despite all of this I would certainly return . Maybe they could consult with environmental people and cut down the decibels with rug ceiling damping ,etc.
We made a reservation but when we arrived we were told we had to be put on a waitlist because Open Table didn't know how many tables they had. Not sure if they are not properly integrated with Open Table, but it was frustrating.
Been here several times and always have a very good experience. Food is consistently great and service is good.
Made a reservation for 7:15pm on a Friday. Arrived and we were left waiting for the hostess. When she finally arrived we were told, "I'm so sorry, we don't have any tables available. It will be 15-20 minutes." We're like...WTF?! Decided to wait because...we had a sitter. Place was slammed, and the 3 parties who walked in behind us were told the same thing. Excellent experience and service and that we fully anticipated.
Restaurant nearly empty but was seated in what I presume is the worst table directly in the traffic near the entrance, exit despite a reservation. The restaurant is too dark at night. It’s difficult to read the menu and I had to actually turn the light on my iPhone in order to read it, the candle was not enough. That said, this is a very nice restaurant and always an enjoyable visit.
