The dinner was outstanding. The "hay" was great as always. The specials of Oysters Rockefeller and Sea Bass were superb. The fish was flaky and tasty. The dessert of a chocolate brownie with ice-cream great as always. Service was superb with Gordon taking care of us.
Gathered with family for a special dinner - we drove up from Florida to visit.
I like the feel of the restaurant and it came highly recommended, but all of our food was poorly seasoned. The butter lettuce salad was over-dressed with too sweet bacon. The French onion soup used very sweet onions in a super salty broth. On the other hand, the fish and chips had almost no seasoning and the fries were super mushy. We had high hopes, but it just didn’t deliver this visit. Hopefully, it was just an off night.
One of the best pork chops I have ever had--better than what I cook at home on my Big Green Egg.
Haven Is a great place and have eaten there many times. It is always consistent in quality of food and service . I highly recommend all of the Word of Mouth restaurants .
