I have always loved Haven. My favorite go to dish was the salmon on cous cous. Sadly, it has been removed from the menu and replaced with salmon and hoppin’ john which does not appeal to me at all. I understand that menus need to be changed in order to keep them fresh, but the menu has not improved in my opinion...way too “southern funky” for my taste.
The Haven for Easter brunch was fantastic. The crab cake small plate excellent and the salmon was super. Outside seating was a delight.
Haven has been a reliable neighborhood choice for years. The food is consistently good, but seldom achieves greatness. I was our first time for Easter brunch. Haven did a very good job of offering several choices from a set menu that was priced reasonably. Given the Easter crowds, service was acceptable.
Although we had a reservation for a Saturday night, we still had a 50 minute wait for our table. However, we were treated exceptionally well and service was extremely attentive. We were served immediately with complimentary cocktails and appetizers and the management and wait staff could not have been more apologetic and accommodating. Great Brunch place!
Have always had an outstanding meal and outstanding service. We always select to dine at Haven for any celebration and when we have out of town guests to show off some of the best cuisine ATL has to offer.
Haven is one of our favorites in Atlanta, and a go-to place for special occasions and when guests from out of town are visiting.
Wonderful ambiance and the food was delicious!! We were having a delightful time and our waiter and team were very good but a bit over zealous. We felt rushed by having our plates removed too soon! We were not finished with our appetizers, salads and entree’s, having to explain each time as they are being pulled away, “I’m not finished.” There was not a wait and there were empty tables in the restaurant so we are not real sure what the rush was about.
