Michael (Owner) and the Crew at Haven are always terrific. The menue never fails to please and the quality and variety are excellent! One of my favorites.
There are so many good places in Atl. Haven is good. We enjoyed it. If I want to eat in Brookhaven I will go again. But - it is not head and shoulders above alot of places in Atl area. If you go - you will enjoy it - but there is alot of good competition that would keep me trying new places.
Haven has become our GO TO place in Buckhead. Love the menu choices, love the atmosphere, excellent wine choices. We celebrated our birthdays and loved that our "treat" was creme brûlée! YAY! We had a party of four and everyone ordered something different and it was all delicious....a wonderful mix of flavors! Always great service and such a fun place!
Both haven and valenza are excellent restaurants.
The service is excellent here, with everybody from the hostess to the bartender to the waitstaff on point. I happened to show up when the chef was briefing the staff on daily specials and he did such a good job I was literally salivating. The food doesn't disappoint. The flavors are sublime, the marriages of spices and sauces to the dish are excellent, and the bartender knows how to make a proper Manhattan. I highly recommend this place.
My wife and I had our Valentine's dinner at Haven on the 14th of February. From the moment we walked in, every person we encountered had a smile on their face and could not possibly have treated us any better. Our service was fantastic, the food was incredible and down to every last detail, the night was perfect. I highly recommend Haven for a romantic date night.
"Tenderloin" was very tough, halibut was tasty, but over-cooked. Service was excellent. Cool, cozy atmosphere. I would return in hopes that the bad food was a fluke because everything on the menu sounded really good.
The food was very rich. The spinach salad came with a poached egg, a butter soaked piece of bread with melted cheese and a large piece of brisket... The dinner was alright but too rich for my palate, but if you like spiking your cholesterol levels this is the place for you! I ordered the salmon which was a bit over done and my date ordered the trout that came in what seemed like a side of bacon. Aside from too much bacon the trout was perfectly cooked. Haven NEVER fails to deliver! We enjoyed another fabulous evening, meal and bottle of wine at this neighborhood gem. The wait staff is simply the best and interested in making your evening the best it can be because they already know their food is fantastic!
