Great food and service. The outside area is very nice.
The food is reliably excellent. I’m never disappointed with the Georgia trout entrée. The service is very attentive. We love eating on the patio.
We are regulars at Valenza (sometimes 2 -3 times per month) and sometimes Haven. Have to say Valenza’s service surpasses Haven- our waitress was friendly and energetic, but I myself asked 3 times for a straw for my water and never received the iced tea I asked for! The bar was not accommodating with one of our frequent drink requests. The salmon although tasty was not cooked to the right temperature, the trout, the burger and halibut were all delicious. This is our favorite neighborhood spot-delicious every time!
We had been to Haven for brunch several months ago and decided to try it out for dinner. A healthy pour for a bourbon on the rocks started things off well! The salads were great. The Chicken & Shrimp Gumbo was excellent with a very dark roux. Our other entree was Sautéed GA Trout which was also great. Service was very good, too. Overall a very good experience.
Always a great evening. Nice crowd, upbeat atmosphere and staff. Enjoyed our regular BBQ Shrimp appetizer, but also had some daily specials that were really special. Really tasty tuna tartare appetizer and the halibut entree with gnocchi was about perfect. My wife had a salad with a very generous protein (salmon) added. First time I ever saw her take home salad dish.
