The food at brunch was pretty good. However, the service just isn’t up to par. We have been to Haven a handful of times, all at different times of the day. The food is always good but the service is always bad. My husband and I wanted to keep giving them a chance bc they are close and maybe it was just a bad day but the service never changes. We will probably not be back.
It was a birthday celebration for a friend....she was thrilled. Food was "lick your plate" delicious!
Our weekly go to. Comfortable atmosphere, not too dressy, but not to casual either. Do wish the couple across from us had removed his baseball hatz. When will 30yr olds learn. Maybe a funny sign by the door should be created to advise. Good neighborhood gem.
We shared the Brussel sprouts appetizer at our table of 4. It was very good and plentiful. We liked the trout, and the gumbo. The trout was a nice large serving. I liked the potatoes and onions with the trout. Service was friendly, excellent and didn't interrupt our visit!
Our server was amazing. The drinks and food were on point. My date, not so much….
Haven at lunch is just that -- a haven of happiness made of potato hay and a terrific burger, or salmon on a Caesar Salad, finished off with a perfect banana pudding with freshly made vanilla wafers or a fried apple pie. Attentive service, a quiet room, a well-stocked bar. Heaven. Make that Haven.
