The food and service was excellent however we were disappointed in the cocktails.
First timer. My old-fashioned was terrific. Caesar salad was decent but entrees very really, really good. My wife enjoyed her chicken and dumplings and my gumbo was really good, although I would have called it 'spicy seafood, chicken and sausage' as it was spicier than most gumbos, without typical characteristics. What made it outstanding were the shrimp, which our waiter said was Argentine red shrimp and he correctly identified that they had a wonderful texture. We ate well, were treated well, and we liked it!
The service was wonderful. Haven is a beautiful neighborhood place and they treat you like family. And the food is fantastic- always a treat to come here.
Took my wife for a Sunday brunch. This restaurant is top notch. Seating on heated patio or indoors. Excellent bar. Met the owner who made us feel welcomed and like old friends.
Fun atmosphere, beautifully lit, delicious offerings! We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time. Haven never disappoints.
Food and service were very good. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, so it was not intimate, but we have always enjoyed going there and will return.
The atmosphere was way too loud. Food was ok not great. Nice dessert though, banana pudding. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly but too long a wait for entrees.
