Healdsburg Senior Living is an incredible place. My students have volunteered there for the past several years and the experience has been tremendously meaningful for both the students and residents. Our students would genuinely connect with residents, talk with them, and engage in projects with them. Staff is attentive and friendly. This facility offers many services to meet the needs of residents. They are an important partner with our school and are welcoming to students who want to make a connection with the elders in our community.
I arrange for student musicians to periodically come to Healdsburg Senior Living. I believe in the power of music and so commend any facility for offering music for their residents. While at the property, I discovered the flower and kitchen-producing garden. It is gorgeous and residents are taken outside to view and enjoy the garden. The garden is so beautiful I would rate it as a tourist attraction. Wonderful staff working hard to provide wonderful, purposeful, intergenerational activities for the residents.
Everything at Healdsburg Senior Living has been wonderful so far! It's a very clean, nice looking place, and the employees have all been very very friendly! They take great care of the residents, and do their best to keep everyone engaged and entertained. One of the activities I saw recently was taking the residents out for a picnic, which I thought was a great idea!
Mom and Dad have found a real home here. The staff was very helpful during the transition. They love the food and we love knowing that they are being well cared for.
Our father has been a resident here for years. New management took over and the place has completely changed. Our fathers apartment is filthy, the carpet is a mess, and his toilet and bathroom are covered with feces and a pungent smell. Management refuses to return phone calls. Most of the previous staff has quit. We cannot get our phone calls answered for routine issues like doctor appointments to severe issues like a recent fall our father had there. This formerly family owned facility was a loving and professional home until it was sold to Pacifica Senior Living. There are multiple Covid cases but only family members of those infected are informed so there is no way to know how many infections there are. Staff is entirely unsupervised and their duties are not being reliably performed. There are staff members struggling to do the right thing but the shortage of staff makes their efforts nothing short of heroic.
