They are prejudice towards black women. The whole establishment is weird & the vibe is off when you walk in. Rolls their eyes at you while talking to you, huff & puff.. breathe all loud. Talk about you while your waiting in the waiting room. They do not like black people PERIOD. If your black go in there & see what I am talking about, they are fake nice it's cringe. They will try to their best to get you to go to the Shiloh location for w/e reason.

Wonderful office & team! I normally go to Shiloh, but Waterloo was able to get me in right away! I do love my girls (and Dr. Covlin) at Shiloh though! But this office was very efficient & friendly!

I wouldn’t recommend any black women patronizing this business even though Heartland messed up my appointment the Dr. Marla dismissed me without even having a conversation with me . This place doesn’t care about the African American women or their babies . Waterloo is to far to drive to be dismissed

My five star review is not for Heartland at all; I personally found their call system awful and most of their staff rude. It is however for Marion Reyes. She is the only reason I will continue to be a patient there. She was incredible my entire pregnancy. If you are looking for a good midwife, Marion is the best there is. She listens to your concerns, takes her time with you, and is very personable. When I decide to have another child there is no one I trust more than Marion. I truly cannot recommend Marion more!

Marla Is wonderful. She answered all my question and made me feel comfortable. The nurse who I didn't catch her name was great as well. Great office with a wonderful staff.
