I was so surprised after feeling hopeful and reassured by the positive reviews and her credentials, but this turned out to be the worst doctor I have ever been to. She was condescending and cold and it was so uncomfortable just talking with her. She did not listen to any of my concerns. I can understand not being a good fit, but I don’t understand being so condescending, cold, and rude.

This Doctor tried to bill the Veterans insurance for spouses and dependents over $800 for a consultation appointment. She told my wife I am not the right doctor for you. Then Heather told my wife she wants to do exploratory surgery to see the level of her endometriosis. But informed her this surgery would only be for diagnosis purposes only. I went to see Dr. Wahl in a truly desperate state, with accute pelvic pain (eventually diagnosed as adenomyosis and treated with a hysterectomy). She said I had neuropathic chronic pain and recommended I see a physical therapist and apply lidocaine to my vulva. I sobbed and asked for them to look deeper, but she dismissed me and told me to only contact her after 5 months. This suggestion was woefully insufficient to my health needs, and set me back months in finding the care i needed.
