The Henderson Castle – Kalamazoo There is an exquisite piece of history located on the steep of West Main Hill overlooking downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. This historic work of architecture is none other than The Henderson Castle, established in 1895. The castle has been recently renovated and is under new ownership since 2011 and is open to the public. The story of this home began with Kalamazoo resident, Frank Henderson. Mr. Henderson was one of early Kalamazoo’s most successful businessmen.

I want to go back to Henderson Castle. It was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was intriguing and cozy at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed the haunted ghost tour. Dan was very knowledgeable and the evening was so much fun. Thank you Francoise Moyet for sharing your exquisite Castle!

Googled Michigan attractions, and we visited many place throughout the state. The castle has to be one of our favorite places visited. We had trouble with our reservation on my end but the front desk took care of us and gave us champagne while we waited. We loved every end of the property. This is our new spot when we visit Michigan.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back.

Anytime I come back to Kalamazoo, I always have to stop by the Castle. Still hasn't lost its charm. I'm loving the new staff. Even when I'm in town for business if feels like a vacation spot

Went in for the seafood tower. Lets just say, you will need to-go boxes (plural) We had a blast, the made friends with two other table guests and had drinks until close. Hope to be back soon.

Attended the Murder Mystery Dinner and had an absolute ball. I'm not much of a public speaker but this event took me out of my element! I had the pork tenderloin and my wife had the fish. By the time the final course came we were so full. Definitely will be bringing friends next time

Im a very picky eater and they were able to accommodate my taste and diet. Henderson Castle is forever in my heart
Murder Mystery party was so much fun, we had a cocktail hour, roles, names, dinner and...the big death. We came with a group of 10aand we all had a ball. There were some couples together complaining about ANYTHING! In a room full of at least 60 people they were the party poopers. I just want the staff to know how great everything as that night, thank you guy.
