You couldn't ask for a more caring group of professionals. All the folks there love my little miniature schnauzer and give him the best of care.
All of the veterinarians and staff who have treated my dogs in the past have been great. However, I want to add a special "Thank you" to Dr. Lesley Holidy, who recently diagnosed and treated my dog Reno for a dangerous condition called Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE). Dr. Holidy has gone out of her way in helping Reno to recover. I especially appreciate her extra time and patience with a very worried me, and her genuine concern for Reno. I only wish that I could give her more than five stars!
My wife and I have a 4 1/2 lb Yorkie named Ellie Bishop. We love her with all our hearts and want nothing but the best for her. That is why we choose Hewitt Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Kristin Dodson, DVM for her health care. Ellie is always treated with caring treatment and the doctor and staff are always so kind to her. We give this clinic and staff a full 5 stars.
I needed my dog seen next day and they didn’t have openings at the time I could be there but they allowed me to drop him off in morning and they’d fit him in and call me with results/etc! Such a huge relief!! I took my dog there after he’d been limping for awhile, knowing I would prolly have to pay for an x-ray after the exam. They called me after the exam part and said it’s just growing pains and wanted to try some pain meds/anti inflammatory meds for awhile first and if they don’t help then we’d do the X-ray. Thanks to the staff for a great experience with my dog's surgery. Things went smoothly and they did a great job in explaining the process step by step.
We got our first animal since moving to Texas near Hewitt. Found a sweet young cat from a rescue. She needed a good check up. Dr Holidy was very gentle & thorough. Found a few issues that were addressed quickly. She called a few days later to check the cat's progress. The staff was wonderful, very friendly & professional. Appreciate all they did during our visit.
I just recently moved to the area, and this was my first stop in looking for the right veterinarian(s) for my fur babies. Walking in, the staff greets you with a smile and are very professional, treating you as their first priority. The facility is very clean and does not have the “usual smell” that most vet clinics do.
