Enjoyed Happy Hour at this establishment. Service was great, drinks were great and the HH specials made me very "happy"! Try the Sweet Potato soup for sure! I will be back!
We went last night (Sunday Jan 21) with another couple. Our server was very nice and patient. I was tired and don't remember his name but he had a black or brown ponytail. We were talking with the other couple a lot and our waiter was patient in getting our order. We also sat a bit after paying our tab and he was nice about it. If his manager sees this, please pass along how much we appreciate him.
We had the THE BACKYARD BURGER with QUINOA BURGER, SALMON POKE TACOS and bowl curried sweet potato soup Everything was delish! The soup I could eat at every day The vegan queso was also delicious and the n/a drinks and tonics were flowing. Service was excellent and the ambience had warm tones with Edison bulb lighting. Perfect place for dinner!
Best lunch spot in Dallas, hands down. They have a cute patio outside to eat on which was so wonderful in this nice weather and the food was so fresh and out of this world tasty. I got the stir fry with chicken and it was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were crisp and not oily which I greatly appreciated. The chicken was juicy and really flavorful. Can't beat the rooftop view and house made cucumber infused drinks! The Quesco always pairs well too!
I love HG Sply but my most recent visit for happy hour was disappointing. We had to specifically ask for the happy hour menu when we sat down which seemed weird that the hostess would include while seating us. We ordered a few things off the happy hour menu but then when we got our check it wasn't the correct pricing. Seemed like an off day for HG Sply so hopefully next time is better!
We had to search awhile to find a restaurant with availability for New Years Day brunch. We stumbled upon HG Sply and we're so happy we did! The service was great! Lots of gluten-free options! Even though they were busy, we were well taken care of and our server checked in often.
I loved the decorations here and the drinks. The place is well decorated. The bar upstairs is so nice and open with a great view. The service here was spectacular. Some of the people were a tad rude here commenting on my Louis Vuitton scarf and my friends Versace coat but it is a nicer posh area of Dallas. Those were customers though. I was dressed up since I was on vacation and I like to wear my designer pieces at times. I loved all the different drinks they had here.
Always an enjoyable time. I like their salads and the outdoor seating. The people that work there are always kind.
