RecommendedAlthough my mother had already taken care of Funeral/Memorial arrangements, there were some last minute items that needed finalizing. Hiers-Baxely took the sting out of this process so that we could plan a Memorial Service with which we were confident Mom would have been pleased. I cannot say enough how grateful our family is for the level of compassion offered to us from the moment we were greeted at the door until we hugged "goodbye" at the end of the Memorial.
Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services is the most passionate company I have EVER worked for. After retiring, I never expected to re-enter the workforce but so happy I did. Once the funeral director realized he wasn’t getting an expensive funeral service from my family he went from compassionate to only caring about how they were getting paid. Not what I envisioned a funeral home to be.
I had a horrible and heart wrenching experience with Hiers-Baxley Buffalo Ridge on Wedgewood Lane after the unexpected death of my precious 93-yr-old mother in her assisted living apartment in Oxford. Because my mother had a “pre-paid funeral policy that can be accepted nationwide,” her “hometown” funeral home in Georgia was to oversee the coordination of services with a local funeral home.
