Welcome to Hillsboro Animal Hospital! We have nine veterinarians on staff and over 30 healthcare members including licensed technicians, assistants and receptionists. Our hospital includes a large surgery suite, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, a critical care unit, oxygen cages, pharmacy and separate dog and cat rooms. We perform chemotherapy, soft-tissue, orthopedic and laser surgeries.

Always a great experience at Hillsboro Animal Hospital! Dr. Ladd has taken care of our dogs for close to thirty years. He is wonderful, knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff are helpful and pleasant to interact with. I would highly recommend then for your fur babies!
We always have a good experience here! My dog, Mona, is pretty reactive so the vet generally stresses her out. All the vets and techs have been so great with her and very understanding. It’s always easy to make an appointment!
Today, we met with Dr. Fisher and Mia. Our dachshund Emma, was not feeling well. Dr. Fisher is relatively new to the clinic and so it was our first time meeting him. He was wonderful! Both he and Mia took time with us, did not rush us, and explained Emma’s issue and what was needed to help and heal her. It was a great experience entering and exiting with the gals at the front and exit desk. I am grateful for their care.

Dr. Chad Givens is my usual vet but I have also seen other vets and they are all great. They take time to explain everything and I am a healthcare provider for people so I can ask a lot of questions. They are always patient with me and answer everything I need to have answered. While professional they have also been kind and friendly and this includes all the staff.
