Dr. Salvino is nice and competent. I have been there 4 times in the last 10 years and was always satisfied until my last visit. Not because of Dr. Salvino, but his office staff and their communication. They did not explain the exact requirements to validate my insurance, nor did they inform me of the potential costs involved. I followed the insurance company's requirements, and then got a bill from Dr. Salvino's office for over $900. They pursued collection aggressively, despite my dispute.
After having pain in my leg when walking for several years and being told it was myalgia and to take a supplement by my family doc with no good result, I went to see Dr. Salvino. His technician did an ultrasound on my leg. Then Dr. S recommended I see a vascular surgeon. The visit to that Dr. resulted in my having angiograms on both legs and stents put in because some arteries were blocked over 90%.
