This theater has been around for decades. It is used now for events. Attended an event here recently and they have done sow things that make it more flexible for different events.
I'm new to Albuquerque, but I've been here twice now. Nice intimate venue with friendly staff. Just bought another ticket for a show in three weeks. Looking like this is going to be my main spot for live music here.
The last show I went to see was "The Deal" for some reason the sound was too loud, so I left after the 2nd song. We may be a older crowd but we aren't deaf yet.
What a great place and exactly what Nob Hill needs!! We came here for a special event and I am so impressed with the improvements. Starting with their contemporary lobby featuring an ultramodern lounge offering a full bar. Because it was a special event for St Patrick's day the cocktail menu favored the holiday. Come one come all.... well not all I don't want it too crowded. This place is amazing. great venue well maintained and Reviva is a great band. Want to give a shout out to the well stocked bar. I am a gin snob.... there I said it!!!! They have 2 gins I have never had what more can a girl ask for!!! Do not be afraid not a church any more
I recently attended a really great show at this Albuquerque landmark and discovered, in absolute disbelief, that it didn't have a business page. Scandalous. Lobo Theater, oh, how I adore thee. We came tonight to see Jaws as part of AFMX's monthly film series. This was a "dinner and a movie" show with a set menu, but we just went for the movie. On other nights they also serve food, along with a variety of adult beverages that looked tasty. Unfortunately, the movie screen has a big white stripe running halfway down its left side, which was distracting, and the sound quality wasn't great so it was hard to hear. The Lobo Theater, a historic landmark at 3013 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM. The Lobo Theater opened in August, 1938. It was closed in August, 2000 and for lease, which was taken up by a church. This photo taken March 24, 2014. Hopefully some of its past will return...
