Only for Macs OS x 10.10 or higher! It should be said more plainly than it is that this printer is compatible with Macs that have an operating system of 10.10 or higher. If you have an older Mac (i.e., 4 or 5 years old) BE SURE to check your numbers. Otherwise you will need to either upgrade (takes a LONG time to download High Sierra) or send the thing back. Does the job Followed instructions and used the CD that came with the printer but for some reason it would not print any documents from my browser. I ended up going to the Brother web site and installed the latest version of software. It worked! It prints fast but I have not tried double sided yet.
