This thing is fantastic. It's quiet and it's fast. The print quality is superb and it even duplexes. It's a fax, it's a copier and it's a scanner. You can connect your pc wirelessly or by usb. Setup is a breeze. (Even for 74 year old me). Best of all it's a laser printer at the price of an inkjet. I am so tired of the ink drying up and spending $50+ for ink tanks that will dry up again in two months. It's just a regular black and white laser printer with scanner and photocopier but it is the only monochrome printer that auto prints both sides of the paper-which I absolutely love! Prints are good. Setup is easier. ONE BIG LIMITATION IS THAT THE PRINTER DOES NOT COME WITH A CABLE TO CONNECT WITH COMPUTER. I had to get one from elsewhere. If it had the cable it would have been a perfect package. I took off a star for this reason only.
I have not gone through the long haul with this scanner printer but from the month that I have had it, I am pleased. It was easy to set up and easy to use scanning documents and printing. It meets my home office needs. I am not going for color photo prints or high res digitization, just the basics of saving some hard copies digital and printing when needed.

My review will be very short. This Brother printer was very easy to set up....so easy my parents were able to print without a problem (which is a small miracle). I was able to connect all of our devices to it without any issues. If you're just looking for word processing ...this printer prints quickly and has a high capacity of pages before having to switch out the drum. The best part is no pricy ink cartridges. I would definitely buy this again.
