Worth it but... This printer is worth the price. However the set up instructions are beyond understanding. Fortunately a call to the help line fixed this for me.
Excellent basic A reasonably-priced, efficient workhorse. If a multi-page feeder and color printing are not needed, this is the choice. Easy set-up, reliable performance.
Would buy again. So far, so good. Was very easy to set up and link wirelessly to my laptop. Prints well. Is quiet.
Mr Great easy set up very reliable. Have a Brother at our other home. This is an improvement. Very intuative
Sin Driver This printer is functional. Probably be a lot better if I could find the right driver for this unit. I have a Mac Desktop and it does not have a CD drive so cannot use the CD that came with the printer. I am using a basic driver and it at least works. Brothers need to give better instructions on where to find tue correct driver in its instructions.

Nice Printer Printer works well and is easy to use. Don't care for subscription based toner service.
I have been pleased overall with the printer Overall, I have been very pleased. I had an older Brother printer that finally could not be turned on. One of the goals in buying this one was to add a scanner so I could get rid of an old scanner that only worked with 32-bit Windows 7. The printing works great, and if I'm scanning 1 or 2 things, it is very easy, and once configured on a computer, the scans show up automatically. I do wish the process of scanning dozens of old photos could be easier.
These are built like tanks with great features Bought this a Brother color laser all in one that got killed by a power surge while doing some mains work. My fault, not Brother’s! Logic dictates not putting it on the UPS because of the large draw when it starts; never occurred to me to worry about the feed side… Otherwise, that color laser would be alive today.
