The printer is fine , but the lack of documentation to display and explain various options and functionality is a real killer. I wasted hours trying to figure out (ow to use it . Finally called the manufacturer.
We are enjoying this printer. We bought it for our son who is attending virtual classes now.

This printer was super simple to set up wirelessly, It comes with a toner cartridge that will print about 700 copies. I don't print a lot but when I do it prints with great quality. You can print right from your smartphone, you just have to have the app that is simple to install and well worth it. The scanner works flawlessly also, you can send an image through email or save it right to your computer. It also has a large capacity paper tray to hold printer paper.
It is just what I want, easy to use once you set it up, my laptop has no CDROM so it takes me a little longer time to figure out how to connect wifi.
This printer was easy to install to the wi-fi set-up that I currently have. I printed a test page with no problems. Was easy to set-up the printer with easy to follow-instructions. Since I am using a lap-top with no way to use the installation CD I used the download from brother and I had no issues. Pages print quickly and I have not had any issues with paper jams etc. You do have to leave the printer turned on and I suggest plugging into a surge protector for the unexpected. Have had no problem with this product. Had it already for 1+ year.
Needed something to replace Brother all-in- one color inkjet, which I'd been extremely happy with. Need only black & white so this Bro laser jet printer fits my needs very well so far. A scanner is built in for the occasional copy job. On the heavy side, so needed to brace up my printer shelf. Good product, good price. Best Buy shipped it quickly and securely.
love this! it's working great & was easy to hook up to my computer, even though I didn't have a cd drive for it! I just got online & downloaded & hooked up! it was easy for a tech-challenged one like me! it's doing double sided for me for our prison ministry inserts (between 1200-1800 each month!) for church wonderfully! we have to send black & white so it's perfect! it was easy to add the drum & to change the toner cartridges! I'm soooo happy with this! I would highly recommend it!
