Great printer The setup felt a bit too tedious -- I had to run back and forth a couple of times between the router and the printer to turn on/off the router as instructed. There's got to be a simpler way to set it up! But other than that, the printer works like a charm. In particular, I am quite happy with the speed it scans documents to PCs via wifi By comparison, my old Samsung printer takes a long time to do that! The scan quality is also better than the Samsung one.

Great quality and cost per page Color printers add so much cost and complexity - do you REALLY need color? Probably not. Keep it simple with this very functional, low-cost option. We use 4 of them at our office.
Capable and reliable Based on my positive experience with a previous Brother laser printer I wanted to stick with this brand. So far it's been great. I was having trouble with the mac scanning app until I disabled IPv6 on the printer. I think it's a mac issue. My Windows laptop works either way. I've only tried the scanner up to 600dpi which is really nice. I may never need the 1200dpi. Toner cartridges are priced reasonably. Works with Chromebook too. And iPhones. All wifi.
No complaints and easy set up Plugged in, followed the quick start guide, downloaded the software, and was printing very soon after. Pretty simple so far.
