Please reconsider your decision to do the induction on Remembrance Day... you have lots of time to change this ..it will mean so much to so many...avoid any conflict and ridicule...with strikes etc. the hockey league has already put a bad feeling out there so please make this right....
Be wise for the Hall of Fame to change the date of the induction ceremony. 11/11 Lest we forget
Canadians are calling you to reconsider holding your inductions on November 11. This is a day to honour and remember the fallen and those who have fought and died for our freedoms. It is NOT a day to honour hockey players for playing a GAME! War is not a game. Both my husband and I are veterans, as is my father in law and grandfathers. We are outraged by this as are many others. Reconsider and respect what November 11th is really about.
I think you guys have made an major error in using November 11th for an induction date. That is Remembrance Day. Hockey players served in Canada's armed forces. There is quite a list! Get it right !
A Great freedom or privelage of ours is ... the ability to actually go to an address on the Internet and leave a message withThe *Hockey Hall of Fame*.
