TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Went for the first time ever to a DHC. We will be back soon. I got the medium top loaded fries. I didn't quite finish it, it's a good deal IMHO. My husband got the #3. He loves hot food and the hot was too hot for him, so he's doing mild next time.
The Atmosphere was great, with welcoming friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile and my food came out quick and hot. I had Dave's #1 meal which was incredible. I would recommend the honey + Dave's sauce on everything they have, you cannot go wrong. I was disappointed to hear the Milkshake machine was down and has been down for a very long time. Reasonable price for the shakes but wasn't able to try them unfortunately. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the hot chicken with a Cherry Vanilla Coke.
I went out to get some food today, and the first thing I noticed was that they were understaffed—only one person was working as the cashier, and she wasn’t the friendliest. I asked how long the food would take, and she just shouted, “I DON’T KNOW!” I ordered two sliders and one order of tenders to go, specifically requesting mild since my kids would be eating as well. Food is really good! Portions are huge! And the staff here are super friendly! Will go again for sure. I recommend the 2 piece tenders combo with cheese fries 🙌🏽 The Dave’s sauce is a 10/10 as well.
Laura was extremely welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in the door! She had great menu recommendations from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I will be back!
