I absolutely love our new metal roof!! We bought an old farmhouse and bringing back to life again. The old metal roof had cedar shake under it. We received our quote on Friday and they were here on Tuesday to get started. This old gem had no fascia or soffits. So that was a bit of work to do. We also had our roof extended to completely cover our deck. Heavy winds delayed the roof an extra day. Can't help mother nature. I have had people stop and check it out and its only been a week.
